Rodney Franklin

Dr. Rodney Franklin is a successful healthcare entrepreneur and the Chief Executive Officer of WoundCentrics. He has developed, owns and manages multiple health care companies. An active practicing clinician, he began his business career when he founded Lubbock Family Medicine in 1999.
Dr. Franklin is the founder and CEO of WoundCentrics, an integrated, full-service wound care company located in New Braunfels, Texas.
He is also the founder and CEO of Accinxi Health Care, a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital company, that develops, acquires, partners, and manages LTACH facilities; he also owns and manages Lubbock-based Physician Unity and M.D. Billing, a revenue cycle management company.
Dr. Franklin is a native of West Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Texas Tech University. From there, he attended The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1985. Dr. Franklin is Board Certified in Family Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Care, and Wound Care. In 2006, Dr. Franklin received his MBA from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University and his Master of Finance and Economics from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University in 2017.

Marcus Gitterle

Chief Medical Officer
Marcus Gitterle, M.D., a graduate of the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio, is co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of WoundCentrics. He has been leading hospital specialty departments for three decades, serving in Medical Director, department and committee Chair, and Chief of Staff roles.
As an active wound care clinician, he serves as Regional Medical Director for one of the largest regional wound care and hyperbaric specialty practices in the US. In addition, he has been on the forefront in acute and post-acute wound care, overseeing care in outpatient and inpatient settings, including STAC, LTAC, IRF, SNF, and LTC (Long Term Care) facilities.
Dr. Gitterle leads the Clinical Research Division of WoundCentrics as a Principal investigator and as a consultant to wound care companies. He has been a Principal Investigator for the US Army Institute for Surgical Research and published in Biofilm, Wound Healing, and non-invasive vascular imaging. He has provided consultative services for many organizations, including 3M, KCI, EpiPen Medical, and CMS.
He serves as a faculty member of Wound Care University and has trained physicians on six continents in HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy), and numerous physicians and mid-level providers in the practice of evidence-based wound care.
As CMO of WoundCentrics, Dr. Gitterle focusses on effective and efficient clinical management, to assure high-availability, high-reliability wound care and amputation prevention across the continuum, and advancement of the state of the art.
Stuart Oertli

Chief Operating Officer
Stuart is an occupational therapist and hospital administrator with nearly two decades of healthcare experience. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, he spent nearly 10 years at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in progressive rehabilitation leadership roles. Upon completing his graduate degree in clinical practice management he left the Texas Medical Center to experience a variety of acute and post-acute care leadership roles including Director of Rehabilitation at Blessing Hospital in affiliation with the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, as a regional manager for HCR ManorCare, in rehabilitation leadership at St. David's HealthCare and most recently as Executive Director of Post-Acute Services for Covenant Health. Stuart provides a wealth of knowledge related to quality, compliance, and operations in long-term acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and skilled nursing to WoundCentrics and its customers. He lives in Lubbock, TX with his wife and two children.
Christina Chapman
Chief fINANCIAL Officer
Tina Chapman is the Chief Financial Officer and oversees all financial functions of the company. She graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Tina began her public accounting career in Dallas Texas as an Auditor with McGladrey & Pullen, LLP. After moving back to Lubbock, she shifted her career focus into Taxation with an emphasis in Partnerships, Corporations, Fiduciary and Estate Tax. She worked for a regional Accounting Firm with an extensive client base before joining WoundCentrics in 2016. Tina brings strategic financial vision and is a key architect of WoundCentric’s financial success, embodying a commitment to excellence, integrity, and strategic financial stewardship. She uses best practices to ensure that the company’s financial operations are not just efficient but serve as a strategic advantage in the market.
Brandye West
MBA, MS, CCC-SLP
Chief Administrative & COMPLIANCE Officer
Brandye West, MBA, is the Chief Administrative & Compliance Officer for WoundCentrics in New Braunfels, Texas. Brandye started her career as a speech language pathologist following completion of an externship at the world-renowned Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center. She assumed interim clinical director responsibilities at Magnolia Speech School in Jackson, Mississippi, before permanently entering the healthcare industry. She spent 10 years of her 18-year tenure at Covenant Health in Lubbock, Texas, in the Rehabilitation Service Line, assuming management responsibility and providing leadership for outpatient therapy services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Her commitment to operational excellence and efficiency was evident when she completed her MBA. Developing initiatives and implementing processes to optimize patient outcomes is Brandye's overarching strategy achieved by developing and maintaining relationships to promote successful team and organizational collaboration.
Ken Rideout
Chief DEVELOPMENT Officer
Ken Rideout is the Chief Development Officer for WoundCentrics. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and has a 28-year career in the healthcare field. He has a track record of developing new wound care and hyperbaric therapy facilities. After launching his career in pharmaceuticals and interventional cardiology, he began his wound care career working for hyperbaric oxygen chamber manufacturers, growing the clinical market and acceptance for HBOT in the outpatient hospital market. Ken helped develop the growth of wound clinics with HBOT in the U.S. with several management companies. Ken also worked for the wound care industry lobbying Congress and CMMS for payment policy. Ken was the 2000 recipient of the Paul Baker Award from the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society.
His current focus is on the growth of WoundCentrics and its goal to bring quality care to patients, increased revenue to facility clients and growth to WoundCentrics.
