Rodney Franklin
MD, MBA
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Dr. Rodney Franklin grew up in West Texas and graduated from Monahans High School in 1978. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Texas Tech University in 1981. From there, Dr. Franklin attended The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and received his MD degree in 1985. Dr. Franklin is Board Certified in Family Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Care, and Wound Care. In 2006, Dr. Franklin received his MBA from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University.
Dr. Franklin founded Lubbock Family Medicine and is still very active in the growth and business development department. He is also active in the Mobile House calls division.
Dr. Franklin and his wife Sheri have three children, Robyn, Katy, and Austin. Robyn is a Nurse Practitioner, Katy is a Registered Dietitian and Austin is studying cinematography at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. They have three grandchildren, Whitley, Abigail, and Sawyer. His hobbies include woodworking, bicycling, rollerblading, traveling, and playing with the grandchildren.
Marcus Gitterle
MD, FACCWS
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Marcus Gitterle serves as the Chief Medical Officer for WoundCentrics. He is an experienced physician leader, having served in management roles as a hospital-based physician for more than a decade. He is an active clinician and presently serves as Regional Medical Director for one of the largest, fully-integrated, regional, inter-facility wound care and hyperbaric specialty practices in the Southwestern United States.
As CMO of WoundCentrics, LLC, Dr. Gitterle created a scalable management framework for the optimization of LTAC wound care and inpatient wound care that compliments the outpatient wound care center at community hospitals.
Dr. Gitterle is the clinical instructor of Wound Care University that provides wound care and hyperbaric clinical training for providers and nursing staff. He is a national leader in advanced wound care and hyperbaric medicine.
He lives in Central Texas with his wife Heather, and two sons.
Stuart Oertli
MS, OTR
Chief Operating Officer
Stuart is the Chief Operating Officer for WoundCentrics, located in New Braunfels, Texas. He joined the company in 2015 and has directed and managed the growth of the company to over 75 facilities, 245 employees and operating in 12 states.
He is an occupational therapist and hospital administrator with nearly two decades of healthcare experience. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, he spent nearly 10 years at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in progressive rehabilitation leadership roles. Upon completing his graduate degree in clinical practice management he left the Texas Medical Center to experience a variety of acute and post-acute care leadership roles including Director of Rehabilitation at Blessing Hospital in affiliation with the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, as a regional manager for HCR ManorCare, in rehabilitation leadership at St. David's HealthCare and most recently as Executive Director of Post-Acute Services for Covenant Health. Stuart provides a wealth of knowledge related to quality, compliance, and operations in long-term acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and skilled nursing to WoundCentrics and its customers.
He lives in New Braunfels, TX with his wife and two children.
Christina Chapman
Chief fINANCIAL Officer
Tina Chapman is the Chief Financial Officer for WoundCentrics located in Lubbock, Texas and works closely with the executive management team and with Dr. Franklin on his other business interest.
A graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, she began her public accounting career in Dallas Texas as an Auditor with McGladrey & Pullen, LLP. After moving back to Lubbock, she shifted her career focus to Tax Accounting with an emphasis in partnerships, corporations, fiduciary, and estate tax. Tina worked for a local Accounting Firm with a large client base before joining WoundCentrics in 2016. Her extensive Public Accounting background gave her the opportunity to build a skill set to oversee all accounting functions, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions and to develop efficient reporting systems.
Tina lives in Lubbock with her daughter.
Brandye West
MBA, MS, CCC-SLP
Chief Administrative Officer
Brandye is a veteran healthcare clinician and manager and serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for WoundCentrics, LLC in New Braunfels, Texas. Brandye joined the company in 2017 and is a valuable member of the executive management team.
She started her career as a speech language pathologist following completion of an externship at the world-renowned Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center. She assumed interim clinical director responsibilities at Magnolia Speech School in Jackson, Mississippi. She spent 10 years at Covenant Health in Lubbock, Texas in the Rehabilitation Service Line, with management responsibility and providing leadership for outpatient therapy services including physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
Her commitment to operational excellence and efficiency was evident when she completed her MBA. Developing initiatives and implementing processes to optimize patient outcomes is Brandy’s overarching strategy is achieved by developing and maintaining relationships to build successful teams and organizational collaboration.
Ken Rideout
Chief DEVELOPMENT Officer
Ken Rideout serves as the Chief Development Officer and works with the management and operations teams to focus on the strategic growth of the company. He joined the company in 2016.
Ken is a 28-year veteran in the healthcare field with a history of new business development in the wound care and hyperbaric medicine market. He began his wound care career working for hyperbaric oxygen chamber manufacturers, growing the clinical market and acceptance for HBOT in the outpatient hospital market. Ken was instrumental in the growth of wound clinics with HBOT in the U.S. with several management companies. He worked for the wound care industry by lobbying Congress and CMS for payment policy. Ken was the 2000 recipient of the Paul Baker Award from the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society for his lobbying efforts.
His current focus is on the growth of the WoundCentrics clinical and business model, formulated to bring quality wound care to patients, increase revenue to facility clients and the growth of WoundCentrics.
Ken resides in Houston, TX with his wife Laura.
