WoundCentrics, LLC, located in New Braunfels, Texas has announced that it has entered into a Management Services Agreement with Memorial Health University Medical Center (MHUMC) in Savannah, Georgia, a part of HCA Healthcare.
MHUMC Savannah has 665 licensed beds, is a level 1 trauma center, and is the largest Hospital system in Savannah providing healthcare services in 35 counties in Southeastern Georgia and Southern South Carolina. The Outpatient Wound & Hyperbaric Center began providing services under WoundCentrics management on October 1, 2021.
“We are pleased to be able to provide our wound care management services in partnership with HCA Healthcare and the clinical and administrative leadership teams at MHUMC,” shared Stuart Oertli, WoundCentrics' Chief Operating Officer.
“During our engagement with the MHUMC management, we identified opportunities to enhance the advanced wound care services being offered in MHUMC's existing wound center while improving business and operational efficiencies that will align with the standards that HCA healthcare expects,” added Ben Simpson, WoundCentrics' Vice President of Operations who will be directly overseeing the implementation of wound center's operations.
Since becoming a part of the HCA Healthcare in 2018, Memorial Health has continued to make a positive impact in the 35+ counties it serves. Providing advanced wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy services will meet the goals of the hospital's mission and serve the communities it serves.
