Dr. Lisa Post, Medical Director
WoundCentrics has announced that Lisa Post, M.D., has joined the company and will serve as the Medical Director for inpatient and outpatient wound care and hyperbaric medicine at Cornerstone Hospital of West Monroe. She began providing services at Cornerstone’s Long Term Acute Care Hospital on May 11, 2022.
Dr. Post graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree and continued on to receive her Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. After working as a dietician, she attended Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport and earned her Doctor of Medicine in 2014.
Dr. Post is an experienced physician that has been providing clinical care in the Shreveport, Ruston, and West Monroe area since 2014. She completed specialized wound care and hyperbaric medicine training earlier this year at Wound Care University in New Braunfels, Texas.
“We are pleased that Dr. Post has joined WoundCentrics and will be filling a vital role as the Medical Director for the wound care programs at Cornerstone Hospital in West Monroe, LA,” stated Rodney Franklin, Chief Executive Officer at WoundCentrics. “Her background in emergency medicine, as a hospitalist, dietician and wellness specialist, and diabetic educator are strong building blocks for a well-rounded wound care physician,” said Marcus Gitterle, WoundCentrics Chief Medical Officer.
Dr. Post is accepting new patients at the Cornerstone Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center.
